Is training mandatory?
For Foundation, self-study is possible but accredited training is encouraged. For all upper-level modules, accredited training is required.
What do examinations look like?
Foundation remains closed-book. For Product, Service, Experience, Strategy, and Transformation, open-book examinations are planned to focus on application over memorization.
Will certificates require renewal?
Yes, ITIL (Version 5) certificates will be issued with a three-year renewal date, consistent with ITIL 4 and Prince2 routes.
